Instruments.New trajectories.
The Foundation places selected instruments in the hands of artists, students and emerging talents. Each loan brings together the right instrument, a defining moment, attentive care and opportunities to perform.
One such journey: Maria Yushkovskaya currently plays the Carbonare no. 345 on loan from L’Édifice Éternel, joining the Israel Philharmonic in Tel Aviv.

Cultural life
Culture is a meeting.
Four families of gatherings shape our programme: they state what we want to make possible, ahead of any announced date.

Concerts & evenings
Recitals, chamber music, intimate evenings around a loaned instrument or a young artist. Short formats, close to the audience, in rooms where the wood can be heard.

Master violin maker · Mirecourt
"When the first note sounds, for me it is like a birth."
In his Mirecourt workshop, Alain Carbonare has made several hundred instruments. In the same town, he saved Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume’s family house. His archive crosses encounters with Yehudi Menuhin, Mstislav Rostropovich and Vladimir Spivakov.

A story entrusted to us
A mother played the violin in the park while she took her children there. Around her, passers-by gathered. Her family gave her violins to L’Édifice Éternel. Today they return to the hands of children and artists, so that the story continues.
An instrument that once gathered people can gather them again.

Beauty will repair the world.
One instrument broken, one instrument repaired. From that encounter come sculptures that turn beauty into an act of repair.
One encounter canset everything resonating.
Nothing requires a gift in order to take part. A question, an idea, a venue, a stage: everything starts with a conversation.
